Regional JR PASS
Here is a small list of regional passes that I found (including one that I took for my trip!) and that I find practical and sometimes less expensive than if we took the national pass depending on the destination.

KANSAI AERA PASS
Available for 1 to 4 days, it will allow you to travel (KANSAI AERA WIDE PASS- for 5 days)

Sanyo-San'in Area Pass

Sanyo San'in Northern Kyushu Pass
Available for 7 days (the pass I took!) to be able to travel to the west + north Kyushu (also exists without north Kyushu)
